PitStop Library Container is a PDF correction and inspection tool that works entirely as a REST API. The PLC is delivered as a Docker container that you can host yourself or have hosted by GrafiStore.

PitStop Library Container is a cloud-ready solution for PDF preflight and correction that uses Certified PDF and PitStop technology as its core. It makes the PitStop library accessible via a REST API, allowing seamless integration with other systems. Think of web2print, your website, an upload portal, MIS or ERP solution.

PitStop Library Container is delivered as a Docker container and supports macOS, Windows and Linux. It runs on a platform of your choice, whether that is your private cloud or a commercially available cloud service, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud.

PitStop Library Container is designed for maximum flexibility. Depending on the license obtained, customers can easily add load balancing and fault tolerance to their production by running unlimited Docker containers across multiple physical servers or virtual machines simultaneously, maximizing the required PDF processing at any time. Cover your seasonal production and peak moments with just one license.

Preflight profiles and Action Lists created with PitStop Pro and PitStop Server can be used with PitStop Library Container, preserving uniformity across print production.

System requirements

  • Type: Docker container with a REST API (on-premise or in the cloud, e.g. AWS/Azure)
  • Host operating system: Windows 10/11 (64-bit); macOS 11 through 15 and 26; Linux on x86-64 and ARM
  • Processor: 64-bit with SLAT virtualization; Mac hardware with Intel MMU virtualization (EPT)
  • Memory (RAM): 16 GB minimum, plus extra resources for the Docker engine
  • Disk space: SSD recommended
  • Other: delivered as a Docker image; no specific Docker version required; accessed via REST API
