About the GS Dropbox bundle
Three powerful Dropbox apps in one bundle
The GS Dropbox bundle offers three integrated capabilities for Dropbox integration within Switch workflows. Dropbox Upload sends files or folders to your Dropbox account; you pick an existing folder or create a new one with a custom name. The app generates reusable datasets or private data keys for use in Switch flows, stored as XML via Log connections. Optionally, the app creates shared download links that are added to the dataset and the XML. Dropbox Download retrieves any file or folder from Dropbox back into Switch workflows using XML files, datasets or private data keys; from Switch 2020 Spring onwards the Switch Metadata Module is no longer needed. Dropbox Upload Request (version 4+) turns Dropbox into a business upload portal: create file requests, email the link to customers and collect uploads through the browser, with optional deadline settings.
Upload files and folders to Dropbox with no file size limits.
Retrieve files using XML files or private data keys.
Automatically generate shared links for your uploads.
From Switch 2020 Spring onwards the app works without the Switch Metadata Module.
Track the progress of your uploads in Switch Messages.
Ask customers to upload files via a share link with a deadline.
