The RIP and colour engine of the Durst Smart Factory: first-time-right colours with GMG technology, ink saving and fast rendering — from prepress to print in one browser environment.

Why Durst Smart Factory Produce?

Durst Smart Factory Produce is the RIP and colour engine of the Smart Factory ecosystem. Where Prepare makes your files print-ready, Produce delivers the actual, colour-accurate output — fast, predictable and with as little ink and waste as possible. You operate everything from one modern browser environment.

Colours that are right first time

Produce is the only RIP with direct access to GMG's spectral colour model, a world-leading colour technology. That means first-time-right colours across every printer and material: the same accurate output without endless test prints. You save time, ink and material while delivering consistent, premium quality.

Save ink, time and material

Estimate your ink usage and cost before you print, and apply optional ink-saving profiles for extra control over your costs. The advanced nesting algorithm arranges your jobs as efficiently as possible, so you make the most of your material and cut down on waste.

Fast, reliable RIP

Produce runs on the industrial core RIP technology of Global Graphics — the same engine behind high-performance print engines. With parallel rendering you process multiple jobs at once, and you scale up easily to drive multiple printers and queues. Fast throughput and accurate rendering of your PDF, every time.

Smart nesting for optimal material usage in Durst Produce

From prepress to print in one workflow

Combine Produce with Durst Prepare for a complete, browser-based workflow: from job intake and preflight to colour-accurate printing and finishing. Produce connects seamlessly to Zünd and Optiscout cutting tables and is part of Durst's Open Software Initiative (OSI).

Two editions: Produce and Produce Automate

  • Produce (S / M / L) — the complete RIP with GMG colour, preflight, nesting, imposition and cutter output. The size (S/M/L) matches the scale of your production.

  • Produce Automate (S / M / L) — everything in Produce, plus ink saving, the VDP editor, the jobticket hotfolder (XML), automation packages and bidirectional cutter feedback.

Optional add-ons such as Die Cut Management, ERP/MIS integration and a fallback licence are available. GrafiStore is an official Durst reseller — get in touch for advice on the right edition for your production, or request a demo.
