Why Quite Hot Imposing 6?

Quite HOT Imposing is a page imposition program that uses hotfolders (monitored folders) to fully automatically impose documents. Quite Hot Imposing can also be integrated into Enfocus Switch and other existing workflows. PDF documents are imposed fully automatically.

We won't beat around the bush; the application is not the prettiest to look at, but it works faster than any other imposition package, and has the fewest bugs of all the software we know. In the past we have delivered various imposition solutions, but nothing matches Quite Hot Imposing. We have chosen not to include a second competing application in our range.

What counts at a graphic company is production. You need to be able to work quickly and flawlessly and never let production stall. We have known Quite Software for about 20 years (!!!) and can rightly say that this is the best imposition application for automatically imposing PDF files. The possibilities are endless and the software is extremely stable.

Quite Hot Imposing looks at a series of folders and links a corresponding imposition scheme to them – also known as montage or imposition – and positions the PDF file or files. The output is one or more new PDF documents. Quite processes folders with files, individual files, and can place these – combined or not – on one or more sheets. All kinds of automatic functions can be built in with rules, such as:

Want to automate further? You can! A clearly structured XML file can dynamically control Quite Hot Imposing. It is also possible to control Quite Hot Imposing via the command line (Mac and Windows). We also use Quite Hot Imposing very often in Enfocus Switch Workflows, where it integrates seamlessly into a dynamic production monster.
