First introduction

With Grafistore

The first introduction to GrafiStore came about at a trade fair. Van As: "We received a demo of the product GSApi, which as a cloud solution automates communication between MultiPress and various web portals. Think of it as a kind of 'intermediate layer', which is maintained by GrafiStore and therefore can make linking processes considerably easier."

Van As: "The demo of the 'intermediate layer' GSApi developed by GrafiStore was convincing for us to pursue this trajectory."

The solution appealed, but how do you start? Van As says that you naturally need to get a clear picture of costs and revenues, but also of what you want to achieve with your customers and within your company. "We experienced quite a bit of stress with our order managers who regularly walked on their toes when processing orders from our larger clients. You can then look at such a trajectory in two ways. Either you reduce the number of necessary people in such a department or you maintain employment, and those same order managers can be of greater added value to clients. We chose the latter. The orders that previously required quite a bit of attention in the early preliminary process now arrive fully automated and with the right parameters at the imposition, so just before the printing or press process. The order managers can now focus much more on very diverse issues from clients, for which we cannot yet offer an automation solution."
