Enfocus wint EDP awards met Griffin.

Good news from Barcelona: Enfocus Griffin has been honoured at the European Digital Press (EDP) Awards in the Software (Automation Solution) category. The award was presented during a ceremony at FESPA Barcelona — fitting recognition for a tool that has quickly become a staple in wide-format and signage prepress.

What is Griffin?

Griffin is nesting software for wide-format and signage printers, launched in 2023. It automatically arranges complex shapes on your substrate so you get the most out of every roll or sheet — on both roll-fed and flatbed digital printers. That saves not only material, but also preparation time and manual errors.

The key strengths at a glance:

  • Up to 50% less material waste through smart shape nesting.

  • Up to 3× faster job preparation thanks to far-reaching automation.

  • User Unit: import artwork directly at the correct, real-world scale.

  • Fewer manual errors because the calculations are automated.

Why this award matters

The EDP Awards are presented each year by the European Digital Press Association and reward products that deliver measurable, real-world benefits to print businesses. The judges praised Griffin for its extensive feature set and the power with which it tackles challenges every printer recognises: increasing file complexity, rising material costs and ever-tighter deadlines.

"Griffin is a solution made to solve problems printers face today, excelling with multiple SKUs, sizes, and shapes."
