GrafiStore makes complex print processes accessible

GrafiStore automates print processes from e-commerce to bookkeeping. Owners Jeordy and Germen explain how they help print companies save time.

Are you and your team driven mad every day by endless repetition and time-consuming tasks? Downloading PDFs, checking and correcting them, creating orders, and so on? High time for change! How? With GrafiStore. We speak with owners Jeordy and Germen about their company.

GrafiStore

Tell us, Germen — what exactly does GrafiStore do? "We automate complete print processes, from e-commerce to bookkeeping, without losing sight of the human aspect. That means print companies save a lot of time, so they can focus more on the work they are really good at."

"Passionate craft fanatics, you could call us that too", Jeordy adds. "We love being challenged by every question. As the expert in automation in the graphic world, we deliver smart and reliable solutions to make print processes as accessible as possible. We do this with a down-to-earth Twente mentality, and we value person-to-person conversations highly."

How it started

How did GrafiStore come about? Germen: "During my time at XCite International, where I worked together with Jeordy, the company strategy shifted more towards selling Apple computers. Yet we saw that the need in the graphic market was shifting towards automation. That gap between employer and employee led Jeordy and me to choose to start for ourselves."

"GrafiStore started by automating processes for leading companies in the print industry", says Jeordy. "We noticed there was an enormous need for efficiency improvements and cost savings within this sector. We dived in with great enthusiasm."

"Now, after almost 15 years, we are an established name in the graphic market and serve customers from small to very large. Our customer base is still growing, because more print companies are taking the step to automate. This is the result of a major staff shortage and disappearing knowledge through retirement and people moving to other sectors. That shortage has to be absorbed with automation and digitalisation", says Germen.

What we do

You deliver complex print processes. What does that process look like? Jeordy: "We look at the specific, individual needs of the customer. Our goal is to support them in realising their vision — while preserving what makes them unique in their ways of working. We strongly believe in custom solutions that meet not only the technical requirements but also the company culture and values of our customers."

Can you give an example? Germen: "Right now we have a customer looking for brand portals: they want to manage all their communications from a single platform. That has to fit seamlessly with their current way of working with MultiPress. So we look for the right solution. Does it not exist? Then we create it custom, matching their company culture."

The future

"This work is fantastic to do", says Germen. "It gives me a lot of energy. I have been doing this for more than 25 years myself; Jeordy has almost two decades of experience in this field. All those years we have had the chance to watch both the trends and the technologies evolve. That is really cool!" Jeordy concludes: "We hope to keep growing in this wonderful industry."
